HIPAA Compliance Statement by EHG

Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), DentalXChange is defined as a Covered Entity. DentalXChange takes this role and the requirement to protect Healthcare data very seriously and complies with all applicable state and federal laws and strives for continuous improvement as new best practices in data security are developed.

DentalXChange maintains Full HNAP EHN accreditation by EHNAC and takes part in multiple audits by our trading partners.

EHNAC Certification

The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) is a national standards development organization established to develop standard criteria and to accredit organizations that electronically exchange healthcare data. Through completion of EHNAC's rigorous accreditation program DentalXChange has demonstrated adherence to the latest standards in data privacy, security and confidentiality.
